Dubai Gold Prices Plummet as Investors Await US Fed Meeting
The Dubai gold market experienced a decline last week, losing Dh25 as investors held off on making moves ahead of the US Federal Reserve's September meeting.
On Monday morning, the price of 24K gold stood at Dh533 per gram, down from Dh536.75 at the close of trading on Friday.
Other variants such as 22K, 21K, 18K, and 14K were also trading lower at Dh493.75, Dh473.25, Dh405.75, and Dh316.50 per gram respectively.
Globally, spot gold prices fell by 0.14% to $4,424.3 per ounce, while silver rose by 1.13% to $66.4 per ounce.
