U.S. Transportation Secretary Sean Duffy recently expressed his thoughts on Canada's potential involvement in a trade war with the U.S.

Duffy stated it's 'foolish' for Canada to welcome a trade war, citing that our country doesn't have a military presence like the U.S.

However, Wikipedia lists Canada as 66th among countries by the size of their military, with approximately 1.6 people out of every 1,000 Canadians serving on active duty, compared to four in the U.S.

The article also notes that the U.S. economy is significantly larger than Canada's, at $32.4 trillion versus $2.9 trillion, and that most economic studies find small countries benefit more from free trade areas than big ones do.
