ECB Seeks Public Input on New Euro Banknote Designs
The European Central Bank (ECB) has unveiled ten design proposals for a new series of euro banknotes and is seeking public input through an online survey that will remain open until September 21.
ECB President Christine Lagarde emphasized the importance of hearing from citizens, stating that euro banknotes are more than just a means of payment. The governing council is expected to select a proposal by late 2026, with the new banknotes set to be introduced at some point in the future.
