The European Central Bank (ECB) has launched a public survey to gather opinions on the design of new euro notes. The redesign aims to make cash more secure, efficient, and relatable for citizens across the EU.

Over 1,200 submissions from artists were narrowed down to ten designs, each set featuring a mix of European culture and rivers/birds themes. Each set consists of six notes ranging from €5 to €200.

The new banknotes will incorporate improved security features, enhancing ease of authentication and accessibility for visually impaired people. The ECB also aims to reduce the environmental footprint by using more sustainable materials and production processes.
