ECB Seeks Public Opinion on New Euro Banknote Designs
The European Central Bank (ECB) has unveiled 10 design proposals for a new series of euro banknotes, featuring themes of European culture and nature. The ECB is conducting an online survey until September 21 to gather public opinion across Europe.
According to Bundesbank President Joachim Nagel, the more people who vote, the better the euro banknotes will reflect the diversity and values of Europe in future.
The proposed designs include 'European Culture', featuring historical figures such as Ludwig van Beethoven, Marie Curie, and Leonardo da Vinci, and 'Rivers and Birds', highlighting Europe's natural ecosystems.
