ECB Vows to Keep Inflation in Check Amid Energy Shock
The European Central Bank (ECB) is committed to ensuring inflation remains stable around 2%, according to ECB Governing Council member and Governor of Croatia's central bank, Ante Žigman.
Žigman noted that the ECB will remain vigilant about the intensity and duration of the energy shock on the Eurozone economy. Despite this, there was no immediate reaction in the EUR/USD exchange rate following his remarks.
