Thursday's euro zone bond yields remained steady as oil prices held firm and U.S. inflation data showed cooling underlying price pressures.

The 10-year yield in Germany, a key player in the euro zone, remained stable at 3.157%.

Investors closely watched Wednesday's U.S. consumer price inflation data, which indicated subdued underlying price pressures and prompted markets to reduce the likelihood of a Federal Reserve rate hike next month.

The chances of a rate increase at the Fed's mid-September meeting dropped from about 50% to roughly 35%, according to market expectations.
