EU Sanctions Force NoOnes P2P Platform Shutdown
NoOnes, a peer-to-peer cryptocurrency trading platform, has announced it is gradually shutting down operations after EU sanctions disrupted its normal functioning.
The platform was added to the European Union's sanctions list related to Russia and lost key partners due to these measures. Blockchain monitoring firms also classified NoOnes-related transactions as high risk, making normal operations increasingly difficult for the platform.
NoOnes' business drawdown began on August 17, with a full shutdown scheduled for 11:59 p.m. UTC on August 21. After that date, services including swaps and fiat withdrawals will be phased out, and only withdrawals will remain available until August 23.
This development highlights the growing impact of international sanctions on cryptocurrency platforms, which often operate across borders and rely on global banking and payment infrastructure.
