EUR/GBP Exchange Rate Surges as Oil Prices Decline
The EUR/GBP exchange rate is experiencing a bullish trend, with investors eyeing the 0.8555 resistance level.
The Euro has gained strength against the British Pound, climbing towards the 0.8540 area after a mild pullback on Friday found support at 0.8530.
This upward momentum is largely due to the cease of hostilities in Iran and the decline in oil prices, which have allowed the Eurozone countries to breathe a sigh of relief as net Oil importers.
The Bank of England's (BoE) monetary policy decision this week will also be closely watched by investors, with expectations that interest rates will remain unchanged.
