EUR/JPY Stabilizes Around 185.65 Amid Improved German Sentiment
The EUR/JPY exchange rate has stabilized around 185.65 on Thursday, as the Euro receives support from improved German consumer sentiment.
According to a GfK survey, German consumer confidence rose significantly in September, beating market expectations with a reading of -26.6 compared to -29.4 in August and forecasts of -29.6.
The Japanese Yen remains under pressure due to concerns over Japan's public finances, but the prospect of further monetary tightening by the Bank of Japan (BoJ) limits its weakness.
