EUR/USD Holds Steady as Rate Movements Offset
The EUR/USD currency pair held steady near the 1.1670 level due to offsetting rate movements, according to Danske Bank's analysis.
A modest pullback from overnight highs was observed before a partial recovery, with the pair showing little change overall.
The US Dollar was weighed down by lower yields and softer oil prices, but European rates also declined, limiting the Euro's upside potential.
In contrast to the US market, where consumer confidence weakened in August, the German economy showed signs of a rebound, driven primarily by the manufacturing sector, with orders rising significantly and fiscal policy supporting activity.
