EUR/USD on Brink as Sellers Eye 1.1400 Support

The EUR/USD exchange rate has been under pressure due to renewed selling activity, and technical analysts are warning of potential declines towards the 1.1400 support zone.

This comes as market participants reassess the interest rate outlook on both sides of the Atlantic, with softer Eurozone economic data and a resilient U.S. economy contributing to the decline.

The euro has weakened against the dollar, and technical factors are also weighing on the pair, including lower highs and lower lows since late January and a downward trend in the 50-day moving average.

A break below the immediate support level of 1.1450 could open the door to 1.1400, which is a significant technical support zone that has been tested multiple times since December 2025.

The potential drop to 1.1400 reflects broader macroeconomic trends and has implications for European exporters and investors, who may see a weaker euro as making their goods cheaper abroad but also raising import costs and potentially fueling inflation.
