Euro and Yuan Rise as Rouble Falls in Kyrgyzstan Exchange Rate Update
The National Bank of Kyrgyzstan has set new official exchange rates for August 27. Compared to the previous day, the euro and Chinese yuan have risen in value against the KGS, while the Russian rouble has fallen.
The US dollar remains unchanged at 87.4500 KGS, but the European currency gained 0.035 KGS, or around 0.03 per cent, rising from 102.0235 to 102.0585 KGS.
The Russian rouble fell by 0.0015 KGS, or about 0.14 per cent, from 1.0429 to 1.0414 KGS. The Kazakh tenge and Chinese yuan also strengthened slightly, with the tenge rising 0.0001 KGS, or around 0.05 per cent, and the yuan increasing by 0.0032 KGS, or around 0.02 per cent.
