The Euro area annual inflation rate has increased to 2.9% in July 2026, according to a flash estimate from Eurostat, the statistical office of the European Union.
This represents a 0.1 percentage point rise from June's 2.8%. Energy prices are expected to have the highest annual rate at 10%, followed by services at 3.3% and food, alcohol & tobacco at 1.2%
