Euro Falls Below 1.1700 as US Dollar Rebounds on Rising Treasury Yields
The US Dollar rebounded on Thursday, fueled by rising Treasury yields, causing the Euro to fall below 1.1700.
The EUR/USD pair stalled at around familiar levels, unchanged from Thursday's opening price, despite hitting a three-month high earlier in the session.
The Greenback's recovery was sparked by the increase in US Treasury yields, which erased some of Wednesday's losses following the US Treasury's announcement that it would boost buybacks of long-dated bonds from $2 billion to $4 billion.
