Euro Markets Stabilize After Soft US Inflation Data
European stock markets experienced muted trading on August 14th as softer-than-expected U.S. inflation data alleviated concerns about interest rate hikes.
The Stoxx 600 index, which tracks the performance of major European companies, remained flat, extending its losses for a fifth consecutive session.
In Germany, the DAX index rose 0.60%, while wholesale prices increased by 5.3% year-over-year in July.
