The Euro has fallen against the Japanese Yen to near 185.20 ahead of German inflation data for August.

Market expectations point towards a September interest rate hike by the Bank of Japan (BoJ), with an implied probability of around 84%.

Preliminary German Harmonized Index of Consumer Prices (HICP) data is expected to show a 3% Year-on-Year increase from 2.8% in July, which could prompt expectations for a European Central Bank (ECB) interest rate hike next month.
