Euro Speculators Boost Net Short Position by Over 19K Contracts
Large currency speculators have increased their net short position in the Euro futures market. According to the latest Commitment of Traders (COT) data from the Commodity Futures Trading Commission (CFTC), non-commercial futures contracts of Euro futures traded by large speculators and hedge funds totaled a net short position of 60010 contracts as of August 11, 2026.
This is a weekly addition of 1919 net positions. The COT data provides insight into market positioning, helping to identify trends and potential shifts in investor sentiment.
