Euro Strengthens as Ruble Continues Slide in Kyrgyzstan Currency Market
The currency market in Kyrgyzstan has seen changes in exchange rates as of July 30. The euro and Chinese yuan have continued to appreciate, while the Russian ruble has significantly depreciated.
According to data from the National Bank of Kyrgyzstan and exchange points in Bishkek, the US dollar remains unchanged with an official rate of 87.45 soms and an average buying rate of 87.37 soms.
The euro has increased by 0.21 percent, reaching an official rate of 99.658 soms and an average selling rate of 100.61 soms. It is approaching the 100 som mark again.
On the other hand, the Russian ruble has dropped by 1.05 percent, with its official rate falling to 1.1075 soms. Its average buying rate has also decreased, reaching 1.028 soms, and its selling rate is at 1.119 soms.
The Kazakh tenge has also depreciated, with an official rate of 0.1833 soms, while the Chinese yuan has appreciated slightly, with an official rate of 12.9247 soms.
