The Euro (EUR) has eased from fresh four-week highs against the British Pound (GBP), but still remains above previous highs of 0.8573. The EUR/GBP exchange rate currently stands at 0.8577, as investors await crucial economic data and the Bank of England's (BoE) monetary policy decision.

The Eurozone is set to release its Preliminary Gross Domestic Product (GDP) figures, which are expected to show a 0.2% growth in the second quarter, following a 0.2% contraction in the first quarter. The region's unemployment rate is also forecasted to remain unchanged at 6.2%, while the Consumer Confidence survey is seen improving to -15.9 in July.

In contrast, the BoE is widely expected to keep its Bank Rate on hold at 3.75% amid a split committee. However, investors will be closely monitoring the number of dissenters and Governor Bailey's press release for any hints of potential future rate hikes or tightening of monetary policy.
