European Stocks Bounce Back as Bond Yields Retreat
European stocks experienced a rebound on Thursday after three consecutive sessions of losses. The pan-European Stoxx 600 rose 0.49 per cent to 649.1, recovering from its one-month low set just the previous day.
The improvement was driven by a retreat in global bond yields and a decrease in oil prices, which had been amplified by concerns over inflation and tighter monetary policy.
Soitec led the gains, increasing by 10.3 per cent after raising its revenue growth forecast for the second quarter of 2027 to 50 per cent year-on-year from 30 per cent previously.
