European Stocks Tread Water Ahead of US Inflation Data
European stocks traded at relatively stable levels on Wednesday as investors waited for crucial U.S. inflation data, which is set to be released later in the day.
The pan-European STOXX 600 index remained unchanged at 661.26 points, hovering near recent record highs.
Brent crude futures rose 0.8% to $89.57 a barrel following attacks on shipping in the Middle East and fading hopes for an end to the Iran conflict.
