Europe's Stock Markets Bounce Back Amid Resilient Economic Indicators
European stock markets rose on Friday as investors focused on economic resilience indicators, despite concerns over inflation. The pan-European STOXX 600 index closed at 654.18 points, up 0.59% from the previous day.
The uptick came despite a week of losses, which were partly attributed to persistent inflation concerns fueled by high oil prices and Treasury yields.
However, strong earnings in Europe and a robust manufacturing sector have boosted risk appetite, with the region's economic pace reaching its fastest this year. The Eurozone business activity has shown resilience, driven by new manufacturing orders and export growth.
