Expats have purchased a luxurious log cabin in New Zealand's Far North region, dubbed 'Yellowstone Lodge', after its price was reduced from $2.55m to $2.395m.

The six-bedroom property, built using 100-year-old Canadian White Pine logs, boasts three guest suites with ensuites and kitchenettes, as well as an owner's residence downstairs.

New Zealand Sotheby’s International Realty agent Ash Boyd revealed that the cabin attracted significant interest from Aucklanders and Australians, but ultimately sold to expats who plan to make it their permanent home.
