Fed Chair Frustrates with Empty Promises on Inflation

The Federal Reserve's Federal Open Markets Committee voted 9-3 to keep interest rates steady at 3.5% to 3.75%, in a decision that has left many expecting more action on inflation.

Fed Chair Kevin Warsh promised repeatedly to 'deliver' on inflation relief, but provided few specifics on when consumers might see the Fed's action.

'You've heard this before, but we will deliver price stability,' Warsh said in a press conference after the meeting. He used the word 'deliver' more than a dozen times in his remarks.

In fact, it was only with three devastating words that he seemed to sum up what many are thinking: 'Deliver it, already!'
