Fed Holds Off Rate Hike Amid Growing Frustration with Inflation

The Federal Reserve is expected to keep interest rates unchanged at its meeting this week, despite growing frustration over high inflation.

Inflation has exceeded the Fed's 2% target for more than five years, and new Fed Chair Kevin Warsh has stated that he has 'no tolerance' for elevated inflation.

Some analysts predict a rate hike as soon as next September, with 76% of Wall Street traders foreseeing a rate increase by then. However, only 29% expect a rate hike this week.
