The Federal Reserve kept interest rates steady at 3.5% to 3.75%, despite President Donald Trump's calls for cuts and growing speculation of a rate hike.

Federal Reserve Chairman Kevin Warsh said that inflation remains elevated, above the Fed's goal of 2%, but expressed confidence in the economy's resilience.

The decision was not unanimous, with three Fed officials dissenting in favor of a quarter-point rate hike. This split has prompted speculation about potential future rate increases.

Warsh emphasized that the central bank will prioritize price stability and reiterated its commitment to keeping interest rates within this target range.
