Fed Survey: US Economy Expands at Moderate Pace
The US economy is expanding at a moderate pace according to the latest survey by the Federal Reserve.
The findings, released in the Beige Book, are based on interviews with businesses in the Fed's 12 districts.
Ten of the 12 districts reported 'growth in the slight to moderate range', while prices rose in all districts, with one reporting 'robust increases'.
The survey highlighted widespread reports of price increases for energy, transportation, and raw materials, particularly metals and petrochemicals.
