Steve Grasso, director of institutional sales at Grasso Global, has highlighted the core mandates of the Federal Reserve as stated in Section 2A of the Federal Reserve Act. Added to the act in 1977, this law requires the Fed to promote maximum employment, stable prices, and moderate long-term interest rates.

Grasso previously warned that high interest rates accelerate U.S. deficit growth, citing weak inflation data from earlier commentary. He noted a significant settlement of $16.7 billion by Meta, which could prompt a relief rally according to his analysis.
