Federal Reserve President Listens to Lehigh Valley Business Leaders
The President of the Federal Reserve Bank of Philadelphia, Anna Paulson, recently visited the Lehigh Valley to meet with local business leaders and hear their insights on the regional economy. The visit took place on August 5, and Paulson met with executives from companies such as Olympus Corporation of the Americas, Hospital Central Services, H.T. Lyons, Inc., BSI Corporate Benefits, and Allied Personnel Services.
During her visit, Paulson heard about the Lehigh Valley's economy, which is diversified and driven by manufacturing. The region has been ranked as the nation's No. 1 mid-sized market for economic development in two of the past three years by Site Selection magazine.
LVEDC President & CEO Don Cunningham provided an overview of the Lehigh Valley's economy, highlighting its resilience, innovation, and growth. Paulson expressed her gratitude to LVEDC for convening this conversation and fostering cross-sector collaboration that drives the region's momentum.
