Feds Disrupt Chinese State-Sponsored Cyber Platform Used for Hacking U.S. Entities
The U.S. Department of Justice and the FBI have taken action to disrupt a Chinese state-sponsored cyber platform, QScan and QTRouter, used for hacking high-profile U.S. government entities and critical infrastructure since 2018.
Authorities seized core infrastructure reportedly used by the platforms, which were found to be linked to a Chinese group known as QTFY.
The targets of this campaign included NASA, the Federal Reserve, and various U.S. departments such as Energy, Justice, Health and Human Services, and the Senate.
