Ferguson Joins Measurable.energy as Company Prepares for Next Stage of Growth
Measurable.energy, a British energy-tech firm behind an AI-driven 'smart socket' that automatically identifies and eliminates wasted electricity in commercial buildings, has received a significant investment from RO Capital Partners and former U.S. Federal Reserve Vice Chairman Roger Ferguson.
The company's technology, which plugs into existing sockets and cuts plug load energy by 50%, has already shown impressive results with clients such as Dalkia, Tortilla Group, and Kier Group achieving reductions in energy consumption and carbon emissions of up to 52% and 49% respectively.
Ferguson, a highly respected figure in global finance, investing, and corporate governance, is joining ROCP as the company's joint largest shareholder. He believes measurable.energy addresses a significant global challenge with its practical, scalable, and commercially proven technology.
With this new investment, measurable.energy will accelerate customer acquisition, international expansion, and deployment of its AI-driven plug load management system. The company has already made significant commercial progress since ROCP first invested in 2022, securing contracts with leading organisations and establishing itself as a UK innovator in intelligent plug load management.
