FinTech Australia Unveils Intersekt 2026 Program Amid Industry Growth Ambitions
FinTech Australia has announced the program for its Intersekt 2026 conference, which will focus on key issues facing the industry. The two-day event will center around four main themes: capital access, AI impact, regulation and reform, and changes in money movement.
The conference features a diverse lineup of speakers, including executives from major fintech companies such as Xero, Revolut, Tyro Payments, Adyen, PEXA, and Cover Genius. Representatives from the Reserve Bank of Australia, Treasury, and federal politics will also be present.
According to Rehan D'Almeida, CEO of FinTech Australia, 'This year is an existential moment for fintech as it is poised to become a $37 billion industry in the next 10 years provided we get the policy settings right today.'
The event will include discussions on payments and banking, regulatory reset, access to capital, and AI. A reverse pitch session will also be held, where investors will present to founders.
