Fintech Industry Convenes at Intersekt 2026 Amid $37 Billion Growth Target
FinTech Australia has unveiled the program for Intersekt 2026, a two-day conference focused on fintech's pressing issues. The event will centre around four themes: capital access, AI impact, regulation and reform, and changes in money movement.
The conference will feature speakers from major financial technology companies, including Xero, Revolut, Tyro Payments, Adyen, PEXA, and Cover Genius. It will also include representatives from the Reserve Bank of Australia, Treasury, and federal politics.
Rehan D'Almeida, CEO of FinTech Australia, said that Intersekt 2026 is an 'existential moment for fintech,' as it aims to become a $37 billion industry in the next decade with the right policy settings.
