Fnality Bolsters Leadership with Central Banking Heavyweights

Fnality, a blockchain-based settlement infrastructure provider, has strengthened its leadership with two high-profile appointments. Sir Jon Cunliffe and Jochen Metzger have joined Fnality's UK board of directors and Europe supervisory board respectively.

Cunliffe, a former Deputy Governor for Financial Stability at the Bank of England, will chair Fnality's UK board. He brings over three decades of experience in financial market infrastructure and regulatory policy to the role.

Metzger, a former director general for Payments and Settlement Systems at Deutsche Bundesbank, has been appointed to Fnality Europe's supervisory board and is expected to serve as its chair. The two appointments come as Fnality seeks to scale its global network of regional payment systems.
