GBP Edges Higher Against USD Ahead of Packed US Economic Data
The Pound Sterling has been edging higher against the US Dollar during the North American session on Monday, up a modest 0.09%, as the Greenback softens ahead of a packed week of economic data from the United States.
This move comes despite last Friday's hawkish remarks from Fed Chair Warsh, which had previously seen the USD strengthening. The GBP/USD trades at 1.3549.
The British Pound has found some ground slightly below its 20-day Exponential Moving Average (EMA), a key technical indicator for traders.
