GBP/JPY Breaks Downtrend Resistance Line at 217.00
The GBP/JPY currency pair has reclaimed the 217.00 level after breaking through a downtrend resistance line, according to Mitrade.
The Japanese Yen weakened while Sterling gained strength, pushing the cross-pair to a three-week high at 217.48 on Tuesday.
The Relative Strength Index (RSI) shows buyers gaining momentum, but the pace is slow, increasing the likelihood of a sudden reversal.
