GBP/USD Edges Higher on Modest Upside Tilt

UOB's analysts Quek Ser Leang and Lee Sue Ann observe that GBP/USD has edged higher, reaching around 1.3545, but without significant momentum buildup.

In their near-term view, they expect a modest upside tilt toward 1.3565.

However, they stress that major resistance at 1.3600 is unlikely to come into play and maintain a neutral stance for the next one-to-three weeks.

The analysts are expecting GBP to oscillate between 1.3480 and 1.3600, with no significant increase in upward momentum.
