Geberit's Strong First-Half Results Boost Stock Price
Swiss sanitary products manufacturer Geberit reported its first-half 2026 results on August 19, showing accelerating sales momentum that drove the stock up 6.33% to $564.60.
The company's net sales reached CHF 1,711 million for the half-year period, representing growth of 5.9% in local currencies despite significant foreign exchange headwinds that reduced reported growth to just 2.8% in Swiss francs.
Geberit's CEO Christian Buhl and CFO Tobias Knechtle highlighted particularly strong second-quarter performance, with local currency sales growth of 8.8%, marking the company's best quarterly result since the post-pandemic surge.
