Ghana Cedi Depreciates Against Major Currencies on July 24

The Ghanaian Cedi has continued to depreciate against major currencies on July 24, 2026. On the forex market, the cedi is trading at GHS12.30 for dollar sales and GHS11.61 for buying on the Bank of Ghana's interbank market.

The average buying rate on the forex market is GHS11.50, a decline of one pesewa from Thursday's rates. The selling rate also declined by one pesewa to GHS12.08.

At forex bureaus, the cedi is trading at GHS11.95 for dollar purchases and GHS12.30 for sales. The British pound is trading at GHS15.27 for buying and GHS16.21 for selling, while the Euro is trading at GHS13.03 for buying and GHS13.84 for selling.
