Ghanaian Cedi Depreciates Against Dollar on August 11
The Ghanaian Cedi has slightly depreciated in value against the US dollar on Tuesday, August 11, 2026. Compared to Monday's rates, the average buying rate is GHS11.66, a one pesewa decline, and the selling rate remains the same at GHS12.18.
The Cedi is trading at GHS12.20 for dollar purchases and GHS12.45 for dollar sales at forex bureaus, while on the Bank of Ghana interbank market, it's trading at GHS11.76 for buying and GHS11.78 for selling.
For other currencies, the British pound is trading at GHS15.62 for buying and GHS16.45 for selling at forex bureaus, while on the Bank of Ghana interbank market, it's trading at GHS15.92.
