Ghanaian Cedi Depreciates Against US Dollar Amid Slight Decline
The Ghanaian Cedi has depreciated slightly in value against the US dollar on July 29, 2026. According to Cedirates.com, a reliable platform that tracks daily currency and fuel rates, the average buying rate for dollars is GHS11.55, which is two pesewas lower than Tuesday's rate.
The selling rate for dollars has appreciated by two pesewas, reaching GHS12.11 on July 29. At forex bureaus, the Cedi trades at GHS11.95 for dollar purchases and GHS12.30 for sales.
On the Bank of Ghana's interbank market, the cedi is trading at GHS11.66 for buying and GHS11.67 for selling rates. The British pound and Euro are also trading at different rates on both markets.
