Ghanaian Cedi Sees Appreciation Against US Dollar on August 14
The Ghanaian Cedi has seen an appreciation in value against the US dollar on August 14, according to data from Cedirates.com. The average buying rate was GHS11.15, a twenty pesewa appreciation from the previous day's rates. On the other hand, the selling rate stood at GHS11.90, showing an eleven pesewa increase.
The Cedi is trading at different prices depending on where it's bought or sold. At forex bureaus, it sells for GHS12.30 and costs GHS11.70 to purchase. However, the Bank of Ghana interbank market shows a slightly lower rate with buying at GHS10.97 and selling at GHS10.99.
