Global Economic Indicators to Influence Investor Sentiment This Week
The week ahead in global economics promises to be eventful, with several key indicators set to influence investor sentiment. In Thailand, the GDP growth rate for Q2 is expected to slow down to -0.6%, following a revised 0.6% in Q1. Japan's GDP growth rate for Q2 is projected to remain steady at 0.5%, while the industrial production in June showed a decline of 12.4% month-over-month.
The UK and US economies will also be under scrutiny, with unemployment rates and inflation data due out. The UK's unemployment rate is expected to rise to 4.9%, while the US's building permits and housing starts for July are forecast to increase to 1.374M and 1.427M, respectively.
