Gold Prices Surge to USD 4,376.02 per Ounce Amid Weaker US Dollar
Gold prices have surged to USD 4,376.02 per ounce in trading today, driven by a weaker US dollar after recent inflation data suggested the Federal Reserve will keep interest rates unchanged next month.
The increase marks a rebound from yesterday's decline of around 1.3 percent, when investors took profits following gold prices reaching their highest level since June 5.
US gold futures also rose by 0.3 percent to USD 4,433.90 per ounce, while silver gained 1 percent to USD 65.08 per ounce. Platinum and palladium both saw increases of around 0.9 percent, reaching USD 1,733.34 and USD 1,318.50 per ounce, respectively.
