Greeks' gross wealth surpassed €1 trillion in Q4 2025, up 19% from the previous year. This significant increase is largely attributed to a rise in property values, which account for the largest share of Greek households' wealth.

According to data published by the European Central Bank, household gross disposable income rose at an annual rate of 5% during 2024-25, outpacing inflation, which averaged 3%. However, disposable income remains one of the lowest in the European Union.

The analysis also highlights that mutual and investment funds saw a substantial gain in value, rising 101% over the past two years. This significant increase is attributed to their relatively small market share, accounting for only 7% of Greeks' total wealth.
