Gulf Currencies Dominate Global Currency Rankings

The global economy is often associated with three major currencies: the US dollar, euro, and British pound. However, according to recent research by Modern.az, the list of the world's most valuable currencies looks quite different.

The Kuwaiti Dinar holds the top spot, remaining unchanged for many years at approximately 3.25 dollars per dinar. The country's massive oil revenues, high foreign exchange reserves, and stable economy contribute to its strong currency.

Bahrain and Oman follow closely behind with their respective currencies pegged to the US dollar. Jordan's Dinar, despite lacking significant energy resources, remains one of the strongest currencies due to its strict banking and financial policy.

The Pound Sterling ranks fifth, maintaining its position as a reliable asset among global investors. The Swiss Franc is also notable, traditionally serving as a 'safe haven' during economic crises.
