Helvo Rolls Out Integrated Financial Platform for Swiss SMEs
Helvo, a Swiss fintech company, has launched its financial operating system for small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) across Switzerland. The platform offers a range of financial services, including banking, invoicing, accounting, payroll, and financial insight, all in one connected system.
The heart of Helvo is a Swiss business account that provides IBANs in both Swiss francs and euros. This account can be opened within 48 to 72 hours after approval, making it an attractive option for new businesses. Existing SMEs can link their bank accounts through bLink, an open banking system run by SIX.
According to Helvo's CEO Julien Barbotin-Larrieu, the platform aims to provide entrepreneurs with a 'trusted view of cash flow, runway and financial performance' in real-time. This will enable them to make more informed decisions about spending, hiring, and investment without having to manually assemble the picture every time.
Helvo subscriptions start at CHF 39 per month, and accounts are provided through Hypothekarbank Lenzburg AG, a Swiss bank supervised by FINMA. Deposits up to CHF 100,000 are protected under Switzerland's esisuisse scheme.
