Hoback Tours Alberta on Canada, US Trade and CUSMA
Randy Hoback, Member of Parliament for Prince Albert and Chair of the Conservative Shadow Minister Committee on Canada-US-Mexico, is traveling across Canada this summer to discuss the Canada, US relationship and recent developments related to CUSMA.
Hoback's meetings are designed to help legislators understand how changing trade and economic conditions are affecting Canadians and gain local perspectives that will support a stronger, more resilient economy.
At a roundtable discussion in Stettler on July 9, Hoback heard about the real challenges facing rural communities, particularly with regard to market uncertainty and its impact on employment, investment, and family budgets.
The event, organized by the Stettler Board of Trade, was attended by former MP for Battle River, Crowfoot, Damien Kurek.
