Iluka Resources Books $24m Loss on Weaker Prices and Stronger Dollar
Iluka Resources has reported a significant loss of $24 million for the year to June 2026, due in part to weaker prices and a stronger Australian dollar.
The company's financial results were impacted by lower prices for Iluka's main commodities, which are used in titanium dioxide production. The stronger AUD also made exports more expensive, contributing to the decline in earnings.
Iluka Resources' Chief Executive Officer was quoted as saying 'the current market conditions have had a significant impact on our financial performance.'
